Remarks. For this species, Annls Sci. nat., 1853, 20(3): 177, cites “Milne Edwards, Arch. du Mus. t. VII, p. 146, pl. fig. 1.” thereby suggesting the latter has priority. Annls Sci. nat., 20(3), however, was available in December 1853 and takes priority over Archs Mus. Hist. Nat. 7: 157, being published in 1854.
