This is the code used for the paper Assessing the vulnerability of care homes in London to overheating during air conditioning failure

The original IDF files cannot be openly shared but outputs can.

Contents
- sim_generation.zip contains the code used to generate the simulations from the original IDF files, using python to modify them to include outage schedules and various passive measures
- output_241127.zip contains the latest outputs of those simulations in parquet format
- run_info.csv contains the identifying information about the simulation output files
- ep_validtime.py contains a routine for fixing the datetime format of energyplus output CSVs
- compress_eplusout.py contains routines for compressing the output of energyplus
- 251027_plot-fluxes.py is used to plot time series of heat fluxes
- 251027_extract-stats.py is used to extract stats from the output time series
- 251027_plot-stats.py is used to plot the stats extracted from the output time series (extracted by 251027_extract-stats.py)
- 251029_plot-timeseries.py is used to plot the time series directly

- 250328_plot-weather.py used to plot the variables in the weather files

- create_runs.py inside sim_generation.zip is the script which generates the modified IDFs. The other python scripts in the generator directory are routines it draws on for specific tasks.

- shell scripts inside sim_generation.zip were the scripts used to run on the UCL Myriad compute service.
