Research as a Media Pipeline: Compression, Reconstruction, and the Role of Trace in Mathematical Objects
Description
This paper models research as a pipeline from information to formal objects, showing how mathematical compression reduces reconstructability and arguing that reflexive archives (trace layers) are necessary to preserve partial reconstruction of the underlying reasoning process.
