Metadata and Data Services Activities-Functions MaDSAF Crosswalk

This spreadsheet defines a list of metadata and data services’ activities and functions derived from an analysis and crosswalk of the common features of current requirements, standards and criteria. There are four top-level headings: digital object management, organisational infrastructure, technology and security.

MaDSAF major version numbers will not increment unless the body of the Activities Functions List (label and descriptions) change, or are added or removed. Other changes will be reflected with a minor version increment. 

The second version of the MaDSAF incorporated and acknowledged the revisions derived from project activity and associated public consultation through the FIDELIS project. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15676188.  

Version 02.01 updates the CoreTrustSeal to T.R.U.S.T mapping.
