This study examines the scholarly paradigms of six major figures in Chinese art history: James Cahill, Wen C. Fong, Joan Stanley-Baker, Wu Hung, Shih Shou-chien, and I Lo-fen.
It proposes Text and Image Studies as a new methodological framework that extends from classical art history to the age of AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content), forming a new paradigm for Humanities 3.0.
