Thyrse: an inflorescence with a raceme primary axis and zigzag monochasial cyme (cincinnus) lateral branches; primary bracts are absent or minute; B. Thyrse inflorescence with persistent primary bracts; C. Secondarily branched thyrse (panicle in some terminology): a raceme primary axis with second branches and zigzag monochasial cyme lateral branches; primary bracts are absent or minute.
