Cyber-Physical Systems - Investing for our Technology Sectors and Future European Markets

  • 1. Thales Research & Technology

Description

Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) research provides fundamental grounding across many contributing technology domains as a facilitator for their integration into sectors like transport, health, manufacturing and space.  This integrative capacity will play a key role in bringing the full benefits of the Next Computing Paradigm to the dependable systems within these sectors.   Meanwhile, there is a need to look at our supporting infrastructure for carrying out such research, where some changes will bring enormous impact, in particular for physical AI interactions with the real world. More generally, it is important to raise awareness that work on technology integration is an important factor for supporting  technology transfer in general and building European technology markets.
