Ritual Protocol — Specification

Authors/Creators

Description

Ritual Protocol is a cryptographic protocol for deterministic 256-bit key generation through a sequence of interactive actions called rites. The key is reproduced each time the user repeats the same sequence of rites with the same parameters — eliminating an entire class of threats related to storage compromise. This document is the official specification of Ritual Protocol V1, defining the rite types, encoding, entropy calculation, finalization chain (Argon2id → scrypt → BLAKE2b-256), and V1 Profile
