Garcinia cowa var. cowa is widely distributed from India to China and Peninsular Malaysia; in Thailand, it occurs naturally throughout all seven floristic regions; B. Garcinia oliveri is widely distributed from Indo-China to Peninsular Malaysia; in Thailand, it occurs in the north-eastern, eastern, central, south-eastern, and peninsular regions; C. Garcinia schomburgkiana is distributed from Indo-China to Thailand; in Thailand, it occurs naturally in the northern, north-eastern, eastern, and central regions.
