Description
African universities play a pivotal role in knowledge production and dissemination across the continent, with Ethiopia serving as a case study for understanding these dynamics within its academic ecosystem. No empirical results are presented; instead, this article employs a comprehensive literature review and theoretical analysis to develop a structured understanding of Ethiopian university roles. This theoretical framework provides a foundational understanding of how Ethiopian universities contribute to knowledge production and dissemination within the broader academic landscape. Future research should explore specific mechanisms for enhancing collaboration between universities and industry stakeholders to further amplify the impact of African university outputs.
