TDB-12-1 topography and experiment control sandsuet - sample
Description
This dataset is a subsample of TDB-12-1 topography and experiment control - sandsuet intended for automatic download and for investigating the nature of experimental datasets without downloading large datasets. This dataset is a 200x200x200 datacube representing 200 hours of experimental runtime, covering a 1mx1m square of the experimental delta with a per-pixel resolution of 5mm.
TDB-12-1: Fan-delta experiment performed in Tulane University Delta Basin. Experiment evolved under constant forcings of water (0.17 l/s), sediment (0.00017 l/s), and sea-level rise rate 0.25 (mm/hr). Total experiment run time was 1285 hr. Experiment used a strongly cohesive sediment that had a wide grain size distribution with a median diameter of 65 microns. Experiment performed to explore autogenic sediment transport and stratigraphy with topography monitored every 1 hour of run time.
