Title: Angelita Subsurface Water Absorption Hypothesis

Author: Angelita Baga

Abstract / Description:

This research proposes the Planetary Sponge Model for Mars, suggesting that subsurface porous layers absorb and retain water, potentially supporting microbial life. By analyzing geological data and subsurface scans, the study predicts water-rich zones and potential biosignatures beneath the Martian surface. Findings indicate that Mars’ subsurface may hold hidden water reservoirs, offering possible niches for microbial life. This study aims to provide a conceptual framework for future astrobiology research.
