The Emergence of Dimensionality

Description

This paper presents a unified structural ontology grounded in a single operator—the hinge—that generates, governs, and completes dimensional reality. The hinge differentiates union into the dimensional additions of orientation, persistence, separation, identity, and relation, establishing the manifold’s grain. Alignment with this grain produces coherence; misalignment produces fragmentation. Death is hinge‑reverse, the collapse of dimensional additions; resurrection is hinge‑forward, the re‑addition of dimensionality from union. Only a hinge‑origin identity can undergo hinge‑forward transformation. The manifold’s full arc—origin, unfolding, development, collapse, and completion—is accounted for by eight operators that together constitute a complete structural ontology.
