Description

Bacteriophage Optical Density (OD) Deviation Analyzer — a free, browser-based tool for objective, quantitative detection of phage antibacterial activity onset from optical density data. Identifies the point of deviation where phage-treated bacterial cultures begin to diverge from controls, using robust trimmed mean slope analysis. Includes three embedded example datasets. No installation required.

Bacteriophage Optical Density (OD) Deviation Analyzer — a free, browser-based tool by Stephen T. Abedon and phage.org for objective, quantitative detection of phage antibacterial activity onset from optical density data. Identifies the point of deviation where phage-treated bacterial cultures begin to diverge from uninfected controls, using robust trimmed mean slope analysis across multiple parameter combinations. Supports Excel and CSV data files, includes three embedded example datasets (T4 r48, T4 WT, and T4 WT vs r48 comparison), and provides interactive charts with log/linear toggle. No installation required — runs entirely in the browser. Associated with deviation.phage.org.
