Traceable Digital Twin for Nanoindentation

Description

The code provides a demo to train, validate and test digital twin to control nanoindentation testing equipment.

The code is associated with datasets (both synthetic and real ones) to demonstrate the methodology and sample outputs are containted in the folder "output".

The methodology allows performing indirect periodi verification of the testing equipment or quality control of samples tested by nanoindentation.

The code allows for traceable digital twin realization by evaluating the measurement uncertainty of the system prediction and response and assessing quality of the output accounting for measurement uncertainty.

The output quality is tested in search for most typical measurement errors and influence factors due to both environment, testing equipment and sample surface integrity and microstructure.
