Kinematic Confirmation of the MA42 1 Stellar Cluster and Identification of a New B[e] Supergiant Candidate in M33
Authors/Creators
Description
This research note provides a multi-wavelength analysis of the young stellar association MA42 1 located in the M33 galaxy. By utilizing Gaia DR3 astrometric data and applying a strict kinematic filtering (RUWE < 1.4), we identified a physically bound group of 14 member stars. The study reports the discovery of a new B[e] supergiant candidate (LGGS J013303.31+301121.8), characterized by a significant infrared excess in its spectral energy distribution (SED). The presence of four Wolf-Rayet stars within the cluster suggests a young age of 3–5 Myr. This work highlights the importance of Gaia precision in distinguishing true cluster members from field contamination in the Local Group galaxies.
