Description

The PLEDGE survey report “Europe and the War in Ukraine: Susceptibility to Russian Misinformation and Declared Support for Ukraine Across 10 European Countries” presents insights from a large-scale survey conducted in 2025 with more than 20,000 respondents across ten European countries. The report examines public attitudes toward humanitarian support for Ukraine and the extent to which citizens are susceptible to Russian disinformation narratives related to the war. By analysing cross-national differences and the role of social media and conspiracy beliefs, the study sheds light on how misinformation may shape public opinion and political priorities in Europe, offering valuable evidence for strengthening democratic resilience.
