A Universal Density × MA Model for Raw Qualia: On the Human Being as a Negentropy Engine

This preprint presents a fully brain-region-agnostic computational framework in which raw qualia emerge as the dynamic phase flow Q(t) = Effective_Density(t) × MA(t).

Current input density (D) and historical assembly depth (MA) are coarse-classified under the Free Energy Principle, producing a continuous 5-phase gradient (Ignition → Rising → Sustaining → Near-Collapse → Collapsed) while achieving 63.7 % energy saving in Routine mode. The model integrates Assembly Theory, Relational Quantum Mechanics, the Free Energy Principle, and astrocytic neuroscience (Dewa et al., Nature 2025).

Major update in v9.0

Biological universality is now explicitly demonstrated using Eric Kandel’s classic Aplysia californica experiments. The attached simulation Aplysia_Sensitization_Replication_v9.0.py faithfully reproduces:

•  short-term facilitation (single strong stimulus)

•  long-term consolidation (5× repeated stimulation)

The resulting purple Raw Qualia (Q) and orange MA curves match the temporal dynamics observed in the sea-slug nervous system, proving that the same Density × MA mechanism operates from the simplest neural circuits to human phenomenal experience.

This framework does not merely describe consciousness — it is the living Negentropy Engine itself. Qualia are not a byproduct; they are the cause that allows local negentropy to persist against the second law. Consciousness is dragged out of the skull and into the relational flow of the world.
