Data for the flow configurations for "Consistent closure modeling in LES by direct approximation of the filtered advection term"

This repository contains the DNS of the flow configurations belonging to the paper "Consistent closure modeling in LES by direct approximation of the filtered advection term"

The DNS results of the decaying turbulence can be found in the directory
DecayingTurbulence

The DNS results of the turbulent shear flow can be found in the directory
TurbulentShearFlow

The paper contains a detailed description of both of the physical configurations and the numerical parameters. 

Both directories contain a description how to read and interpret the simulation outputs, with an example python script to read the h5-files. 

This Zenodo repository contains only one simulation output per flow configuration because of storage limitations. The full data set containing all simulation outputs can be found under the following link:
