The Spanish philosopher experiences the space and time of exile as a “miracle of an identity in perpetual balance”, allowing her to rethink history and regenerate the ongoing creative opportunity to offer the world a hope for unity, where true salvation lies not in “escape” but in the precious chance for spiritual edification. It is a hope to be desired forever, especially today.
