Bombycopsis varidentata Joannou & Kr ü ger, 2009
COMMON NAME(S): Eggar, Snout moth (although this also refers to the Pyralidae) or Lappet moth.
SYNONYM(S): None.
IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).
DISTRIBUTION: Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: ‘Lusaka’, in Lusaka Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Host plants include Gossypium hirsutum L. (Malvaceae).
