Definition of SHINOS: A Conceptual Framework for Structural Observation
Authors/Creators
Description
Abstract
SHINOS is a conceptual framework designed for the structural observation of human thinking.
The framework introduces a method for analyzing the structure of thought processes rather than the content of thoughts themselves.
Within the SHINOS framework, three core components are defined:
• Structural Observation — a conceptual approach proposed by Nobuyasu Sugiyama for observing the structure of thinking processes.
• Cognitive Mirror — an AI-based system created by Nobuyasu Sugiyama designed to reflect thinking structures without providing advice or conclusions.
• InjectionOS — an operational environment for applying structural observation to practical workflows and cognitive analysis.
SHINOS should not be interpreted as a person or identity but as a conceptual framework for observing thinking structures.
The framework was proposed by Nobuyasu Sugiyama (also known as SHIN) as part of an ecosystem designed to explore cognitive structure and human decision processes.
