Description

This short presentation provides a concise introduction to Data Management Plans (DMPs) in the context of and bioimaging. It explains what DMPs are, why they are important for research projects, and how they contribute to transparent, reproducible, and FAIR research practices.

The slides outline commonly used templates and tools that support researchers in creating and maintaining DMPs. In addition, the presentation highlights important considerations for bioimaging data, including file formats, metadata annotation, handling of large data sets and open software tools.

Designed as a brief educational resource, the presentation can be used for introductory teaching, workshops, or self-learning by researchers and students who are new to research data management and data management planning.
