DAISY Coded segments EU policies 20251101 v1 data

DAISY evaluated and assessed the transformative potential of DAISY domains-relevant implemented EU policies: the Birds and Habitats Directives, the European Climate Law, the Urban Agenda for the EU, and the Nature Restoration Regulation. In each policy, the role of biodiversity, biodiversity values and relevant incentives was assessed, advancing the Biodiversity Policy Integration (BPI) framework. DAISY further conducted a legal analysis, comparing the selected policy areas’ elements of coherence, consistency and tension areas with the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 and SDGs using the DAISY’s and the IPBES Assessment on Transformative Change conceptual frameworks.
