Dark Energy as Fractional Gravity: Accelerated Expansion from Sephirotic Topology with Zero Free Parameters
Authors/Creators
Description
We show that the accelerated expansion of the universe emerges naturally from Multi-Plane Field Syntergic Theory (MPFST) without a cosmological constant, dark energy fluid, or any additional free parameters. The fractional Laplacian with α = 6/5—an exact eigenvalue of the 11-node Sephirotic graph Laplacian—predicts a dark energy equation of state w = −11/15 ≈ −0.733. Testing against 1,590 Type Ia supernovae from Pantheon+: χ²/dof = 0.431, statistically indistinguishable from ΛCDM (Δχ² = +0.32). The predicted w = −0.733 lies within 0.37σ of DES Y5 (w = −0.70 ± 0.09) and 0.87σ of DESI 2024 (w₀ = −0.55 ± 0.21). This is the 16th physical domain explained by the single topological constant α = 6/5. The cosmological constant problem dissolves: Λ = 0.
Author correction (June 2026): The equation-of-state expression printed in the abstract as w = −(3α−2)/(3α) is a typographical error and does not evaluate to the stated value at α = 6/5. The correct derivation, used in the body of the paper (Eq. 8), is w = −1 + (2−α)/3 = −11/15 ≈ −0.733. The reported value −11/15 and the fits to the Pantheon+ data are unaffected.
