A Primer on Teleodynamic Semantics, Part II: A Formal Model of Teleodynamic Architecture
Description
Teleodynamic Semantics proposes that reality can be understood as a structured field of transformations rather than a collection of static entities. The state of a system unfolds within a fourfold architecture linking objective manifestation, mental representation, operative mediation, and witnessing awareness. Transformations within this field are initiated by discrete operators known as Microvita, which generate local shifts and interactions across these domains. Their collective activity forms a semantic landscape that shapes possible trajectories of development. The coherence of these trajectories is evaluated through teleodynamic curvature, a measure of how meaning evolves across time. Through a Zeno-like stabilization mechanism, coherent developments are reinforced while destructive tendencies lose stability. At larger scales, these dynamics organize themselves into teleodynamic cycles that structure the evolution of complex systems.
