Lasiocesa lanceolata (Hering, 1932)
COMMON NAME(S): Eggar, Snout moth (although this also refers to the Pyralidae) or Lappet moth.
SYNONYM(S): None.
IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).
DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Zambia.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Ndola, in Copperbelt Province; Lusaka and Kafue, in Lusaka Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Unknown.
