Description

In today's highly competitive and dynamic world, it is increasingly difficult for recent graduates to successfully enter the job market and, consequently, to secure minimum workplace safety conditions. The objective of this research was to propose sustainable strategies to strengthen soft skills and facilitate employment in service-sector companies. The research approach was quantitative, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational design. The variables analysed were soft skills and employment, considering leadership, communication, and decision-making as dimensions. The sample consisted of business decision-makers from the companies under study. The results showed a statistically significant relationship between the development of soft skills and higher employment levels, highlighting leadership, communication, and decision-making as key factors. It is concluded that strengthening these soft skills improvesemployability in the service sector. Similarly, training strategies focused on organisational sustainability and the comprehensive development of human capital are proposed.
