Abstract
Education is the structured process by which knowledge, skills, and values are transferred across individuals and generations. Conventional educational theory focuses on curriculum design, pedagogy, and cognitive development, but lacks a unified field-theoretic account of why learning succeeds or fails at the level of individual experience. This paper introduces the Energy–Consciousness Observer Framework (ECOF) as a coherence-based model of educational dynamics. Within ECOF, learning is not merely information transfer — it is a resonance alignment between observer consciousness and structured information fields, modulated by entropy (S), coherence (Φ), and observer-field coupling F(O). The paper derives a Learning Impact equation, situates it within established educational and cognitive science literature, outlines falsifiable predictions, and establishes ECOF's relevance to pedagogical innovation, adaptive learning systems, and educational equity. This is a Level One anchor paper establishing the ECOF–education connection as a foundation for further empirical and theoretical development.
