Finite Correlation Length and Propagation Constraints in Adaptive Substrates
Authors/Creators
Description
Paper 3 demonstrates that adaptive memory substrates exhibit a finite propagation length over which information can be coherently transmitted. Beyond this correlation distance, coordination between distant regions degrades. This propagation constraint introduces a fundamental scale for coherent structure formation and explains why large flat memory systems tend to fragment into locally coherent but globally disconnected regions.
