A CONSMER PERCEPTION ON ONLINE GROCERY SHOPPING IN COIMBATORE

Description

This study examines consumer perception towards online grocery shopping, focusing on factors such as
convenience, product quality, pricing, delivery efficiency, trust, and overall customer satisfaction. With the rapid
growth of digital platforms and changing consumer lifestyles, online grocery services have become increasingly
popular, particularly among young and working individuals. The research aims to identify the key determinants
influencing consumer preferences, purchase behavior, and satisfaction levels in the online grocery sector.
The study is based on primary data collected through structured questionnaires from a diverse group of consumers.
The analysis highlights that convenience, time-saving benefits, attractive discounts, and ease of payment
significantly influence consumer adoption of online grocery platforms. Additionally, trust in product freshness,
brand reputation, and reliable delivery services play a crucial role in shaping positive consumer perception.
The findings reveal that while consumers appreciate the efficiency and accessibility of online grocery shopping,
concerns related to product quality, delivery delays, and return policies still affect satisfaction levels. The study
concludes that improving service reliability, ensuring product freshness, and enhancing customer support can
strengthen consumer trust and long-term loyalty. These insights provide valuable recommendations for online
grocery retailers to refine their strategies and enhance overall customer experience in a competitive digital
marketplace.
