BMA cross-section tables for rare-isotope production calculations
Description
This dataset contains calculated production cross sections for
projectile fragmentation reactions obtained using the Bayesian-
inspired model averaging (BMA) framework implemented in LISE++.
The BMA approach combines abrasion–ablation calculations based on
multiple nuclear mass tables into a statistically weighted estimate
of production cross sections and their associated uncertainties.
Each file corresponds to a specific projectile–target system:
BMA_CS_78Kr_9Be.dat – 78Kr + 9Be fragmentation
BMA_CS_124Xe_9Be.dat – 124Xe + 9Be fragmentation
BMA_CS_92Mo_12C.dat – 92Mo + 12C fragmentation
BMA_CS_144Sm_12C.dat – 144Sm + 12C fragmentation
The calculations correspond to intermediate-energy projectile
fragmentation conditions relevant for rare-isotope beam production.
