Formal Objects, Search Operators, and Governance in the Reflexive Laboratory

This paper develops a formal framework for the Reflexive Laboratory, a model of AI-assisted research organized around differentiated threads, artifact provenance, and archival publication. The framework introduces a minimal object language for research systems, models research as a search process over branching and integration operators, and interprets redundancy and governance through an information-theoretic lens.
