AMLÉ Open Access & Modernising Assessment Position Paper

The AMLÉ Open Access & Modernising Assessment Position Paper is the core policy document of Aontas na Mac Léinn in Éirinn (AMLÉ), the national student's union of Ireland on open access policy and higher education assessment reform.

It was created by MJ Quill, Vice President for Postgraduate Affairs at AMLÉ and Emma Muldoon-Ryan, Vice President for Academic Affairs at AMLÉ following a period of consultation with student's union officers, students, researchers and external organisations.

This paper was approved by a unanimous vote of student delegates attending Comhdháil AMLÉ 2026.
