THE INFORMATIONAL PHASE BOUNDARY Replacing the Schwarzschild Radius with a Material Fracture Threshold: Black Holes as Pressure-Induced Crystalline Phase Transitions of the SORT Substrate

This pre-print, Paper III in the Hydrotorsional Dynamics (HTD) series, introduces the Informational Phase Boundary (IPB) as the physically rigorous replacement for the Schwarzschild radius. The paper demonstrates that while Einstein's General Relativity correctly computed the stress tensor leading to gravitational collapse, it employed a continuous Riemannian coordinate system that permitted the radial variable to approach zero, resulting in a non-physical division-by-zero singularity.

 

By applying the acoustic identity of the solid vacuum ($c^2 = \Upsilon_{vac}/\rho_{vac}$), this framework proves that the event horizon is not a kinematic speed limit, but a strict material fracture threshold of the SORT Substrate. Gravitational collapse is thus redefined as a two-phase process:

    Pre-Fracture Compression: The lattice deforms elastically, reproducing Newtonian gravity and General Relativity's predictions for gravitational lensing via acoustic refraction.

    The Lattice Fracture Core (LFC): Upon reaching the vacuum's ultimate tensile strength ($\Upsilon_{vac} \sim 10^{113}$ Pa), the 6-fold Isotropic Vector Matrix undergoes a structural phase transition into a novel, maximally packed 3D crystalline arrangement. The integer floor of this lattice strictly forbids the formation of a zero-dimensional singularity.

     

This material framework effortlessly resolves two of modern physics' greatest anomalies:

    Why Light Cannot Escape: Light is silenced not by extreme spacetime geometry, but by mechanical saturation. Inside the LFC, every lattice strut is stretched to its absolute maximum tension, dropping the transverse shear wave speed exactly to zero.

     

  • The Information Paradox: Information is never lost. The infalling topological state is permanently and deterministically encoded into the integer strain map of the Lattice Fracture Core. Furthermore, Hawking radiation is re-derived without quantum field theory as classical acoustic stress relief at the material phase boundary.
