The book reexamines the multidisciplinary character of glass as a material, an artistic medium, a technological raw material, and a product of the creative economy.

This thematic collection was created within the framework of Serbian-American cooperation on preparing a preliminary technical assessment for the preservation and revitalization of the Paraćin glass industry, carried out by the Institute for Creative Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the Foundation for the Advancement of Economics, the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments, and the Corning Museum of Glass.
