Structural Coordinates of the History of Civilization (Volume I: The Ancient World): A Self-as-an-End Application / 文明史的结构坐标(第一篇:古代):Self-as-an-End框架的文明史应用

This paper is the first of a four-volume civilization-history application in the Self-as-an-End theory series. Using Paper 3's three-layer, six-directional transmission model as a coordinate system, it structurally scans the Western, Chinese, and Japanese civilizational lines across the ancient period (c. 800 BCE – 500 CE). Two structural nodes are examined: the Axial Age (the first emergence of the individual layer) and the Imperial Age (the first large-scale expansion of the institutional layer). The methodology — distinguishing trend from timing, treating shared external conditions as boundary conditions rather than causes, and offering coordinate positioning rather than civilization ranking — is established in this volume and referenced by the subsequent three. Originally written in Chinese; the English version is a rewrite, not a translation.

本文是Self-as-an-End理论系列的文明史应用论文(共四篇)的第一篇。以Paper 3的三层六向传导模型为坐标系,对西方、中国、日本三条文明主线在古代时段(约前800年至公元500年)进行结构扫描。覆盖两个核心节点:轴心时代(个体层的第一次浮现)和帝国时代(制度层的第一次大规模膨胀)。本篇建立了贯穿四篇的方法论:区分趋势与时机、将共同外部条件视为边界条件而非原因、坐标定位而非文明排名。中文为原版,英文版为重写而非翻译。
