The Role of Education in Reducing Poverty in Ghana
Description
his article examines the role of education in reducing poverty in Ghana by analyzing how different levels of educational attainment contribute to improved income, employment opportunities, and social mobility. It also explores the impact of government policies, such as the Free Senior High School (SHS) program, while highlighting ongoing challenges including inequality in access, gender gaps, and barriers faced by rural populations and children with disabilities. The study emphasizes education as a key driver of sustainable socioeconomic development and poverty reduction in Ghana.
