This replication package contains all materials required to reproduce the results of the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) presented in the study. It provides the search strategy, intermediate datasets, and the final curated dataset of selected studies.

FILES INCLUDED

1. Replication_Package_Bisht_VR_SLR.xlsx
 o Contains the final curated dataset of selected primary studies used in the SLR.
 o Provides bibliographic information for each study:
   * Authors, Year, Title, Publication Venue, DOI
   * Query ID and Search String used for retrieval
   * Quality Assessment scores (QA1-QA4), Total Score, and Quality Category
 o This dataset represents the final set of studies after applying inclusion/exclusion screening and quality assessment.

2. Data_SLR.xlsx
 o Contains intermediate datasets generated during the study identification and screening process.
 o The sheet details:
Key_research_papers
* Lists all papers retrieved from the initial database searches before cleaning or filtering.
* Represents the raw starting dataset for the SLR.
Query_selection
* Contains all search queries tested during the study, along with the number of results retrieved for each query.
* Documents the query refinement and selection process prior to finalising the search strategy.
Snowballing
* Contains studies identified through forward and backward citation analysis (snowballing) before final cleaning and inclusion.
* Demonstrates the additional papers discovered outside the initial database search.

3. Quality_Assessment_Logic.docx
o Describes the quality assessment framework applied to all selected studies.
o Explains:
* Evaluation criteria
* Scoring methodology for each criterion
* Thresholds for assigning Quality Categories
o This ensures a transparent and reproducible evaluation of study quality.

* The datasets focus on studies related to Software Engineering practices and challenges in Virtual Reality development.
* Publication years considered: 2014-2024
* Only English-language journal articles and conference papers in Computer Science and Engineering were included.
