Description

The slides collated here were delivered as an online seminar on May 27th, 2025. The full seminar was recorded and can be viewed on the DARIAH-IE YouTube Channel [https://www.youtube.com/@DARIAH-IE]

The aim of the seminar was to introduce Irish researchers to DARIAH, the pan-European Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities, to highlight the affordances of DARIAH participation to Ireland's Digital Arts and Research communities and to demonstrate the variety of ways that DARIAH might be structured at a national level to support engagement.

Following a fallow period of engagement with DARIAH from members of the Irish research community DARIAH-IE, the Ireland node of DARIAH, reintroduces itself to Irish researchers, ractitioners and academics in teh digitally-enabled arts and humanities. With introductions from Dr Marina Milič (Research Ireland - project funder), DARIAH-IE National Coordinator Professor Jennifer Edmond and DARIAH-IE National Manager Joan Murphy.

Presentations are given by: Dr Sarah Hoover, IADT (CLS INFRA); Dr Michael Kurzmeir, DARIAH-EU (SSHOMP); Prof Koraljka Golub, DARIAH-SE; Nicolas Larrousse, DARIAH-FR and Anna Woldrich, CLARIAH-AT.
