Effective use of Social Media Tools in providing Library Services

Abstract:

Social Networking is a digital platform for the share ideas, thoughts, photos, videos, etc. to other users. Social Networking (SN) creates a group to the users and communicates to them using Social Networking tools like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn etc. It is an instant and easy communication way in the 21^st century. Social Networking sites not any geographical binderies to search for any information, browse, and invite a friend to connect. Social Networking (SN) platform is used to share, build and make a relationship to users & connect with. Social Networking is a useful platform for the library to provide effective library services like Newspaper Clippings, New Arrivals, CAS, Library events, photos, etc.
