Description
Evidence shows that there are marked health disparities between those living in rural areas versus their urban counterparts. This materials from a Network of the National Library of Medicine class addresses health information resources and data, increasing health information access and use and the NNLM initiative of Bridging the Digital Divide by demonstrating how to find information on health conditions, demographic groups and social issues in MedlinePlus.gov, Rural Health Information Hub, and USDA Economic Research Service. Content last updated January 2026.
