Description

This Data Management Plan (DMP) is developed for the project “Use of Algal Biomass in the Production of Carbon-Cured Cement, LC3, and Alkali-Activated Geopolymer Composites” (PostDoc No. 1.1.1.9/LZP/2/25/290), funded under Activity 1.1.1.9 “Post-doctoral Research” of the European Union Cohesion Policy Programme 2021–2027.

The project investigates the incorporation of algal biomass into carbonation-cured cementitious materials (OPC, LC3, and geopolymer composites) to improve material performance and reduce CO₂ emissions in construction. The DMP outlines how research data generated during the project—such as experimental measurements, material characterization results, durability testing data, microstructural analysis, and life cycle assessment datasets—will be collected, managed, stored, and shared. It ensures that research data are handled according to FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) and supports transparency and Open Science practices.
