Hybrid LDPC-STBC Scheme for BER Reduction in OFDM-based WiMAX System
Authors/Creators
Description
Traffic volume rises as a result of the rapid expansion of mobile broadband usage. Investigate 4G
technology options in order to better meet these future requirements using different technology
standards. LTE and WiMAX are two newly created broadband wireless technologies that are being
investigated. LTE and WiMAX, two of the most advanced next-generation mobile broadband
technologies, serve as the technological cornerstones of 4G wireless broadband networks. For next
generation, or 4G, broadband wireless networks to better serve present and future demands and
mobile internet applications, QoS structure is a crucial component. These technologies are made to
support QoS both now and in the future. IEEE 802.16E, IEEE 802.16M (WiMAX), and LTE are 4G
mobile broadband technologies that support a variety of applications with different QoS requirements.
We have corroborated in this manuscript that in a flat Rayleigh fading channel, the hybrid LDPC
STBC coding scheme performs better than individual STBC for the similar SNR values for OFDM
based WiMAX system.
