Dear fellow researchers,

This community was created to organize and share the data generated during my doctoral research. Here you will find scripts, .txt files, and other relevant materials that support the main findings of the study.

More than simply storing research outputs, this space seeks to make explicit something that should already be evident but remains insufficiently recognized in political and scientific arenas: the fundamental importance of traditional knowledge systems. Recognizing and valuing these knowledge systems requires respecting and defending the territorialities, practices, and ways of being and living of the peoples and communities who inhabit and care for the landscapes we all share.

Grounded in rigorous scientific research and dialogue with local knowledge, this work is committed to contributing to the development of public policies capable of safeguarding these rights. Ultimately, it advocates for conservation approaches that integrate the protection of socio-biodiversity with socio-environmental justice and contra-colonial perspectives, inspired by Latin American thought and by the reflections of Antônio Bispo dos Santos.

In this sense, science must not only document ecological processes but also support more just and plural ways of thinking about conservation, knowledge production, and the future of shared territories.
