Herbal hematinic agents, which are derived from medicinal plants, are a safe and cost - effective approach to address the anemia problem by promoting hemoglobin, iron metabolism, and erythropoiesis.  The review aims to discuss the anti - anemic potential of some selected medicinal plants and the potential of green nano - herbal formulations for managing anemia.
