CURRENT ASPECTS OF VENEER APPLICATION IN ESTHETIC DENTISTRY (LITERATURE REVIEW)
Authors/Creators
Description
In this article, the authors examine the concept and classification of veneers and provide a clinical evaluation of their significance in prosthetic dentistry. Veneers are thin prosthetic restorations bonded to the vestibular surface of teeth to restore their esthetic and functional characteristics. The use of veneers makes it possible to correct the shape, color, and position of teeth, as well as eliminate superficial defects of the hard dental tissues while preserving the maximum volume of healthy enamel, which corresponds to the principles of minimally invasive dentistry.
