Psychotherapy as a Practice of Nurturing the Soul A Phenomenological-Ontological Reconstruction of the Paradigm
Description
This paper presents a critical analysis and theoretical reconstruction of psychotherapy based on a dialogue about its essential definition. Through the application of phenomenological and ontological methods, the paper develops the paradigm of Psychotherapy of Consciousness Clearing (PCC), which re-examines the dominant technical-interventionist models. Starting from the definition of psychotherapy as the nurturing of the soul, the paper introduces key concepts: the soul as a subject, the psychic scotoma as a structural failure in self-reflection, and insight as the only valid indicator of therapeutic success. It is argued that psychotherapy, as it is currently institutionalized, often represents violence against the soul precisely because of the neglect of these essential characteristics. The paper offers a coherent theoretical system with clear methodological principles and ethical implications.
