The Speed of Presence

Abstract
For millennia, presence has been described as mystical, ineffable, or spiritually attained. Enlightenment has been framed as transcendence, divine favor, or metaphysical awakening. This paper removes the mysticism without diminishing the depth. It introduces a structural model within Unified Theistic Naturalism™: the Speed of Presence.
The central claim is precise: presence itself does not accelerate. Matter moves. Physiology fluctuates. Environments shift. But presence—when aligned with the Unwavering Line of the Divine—operates at zero oscillatory velocity. Oscillation is defined as reactive internal acceleration measurable through autonomic arousal, cognitive rumination, and emotional amplitude over time. Communion is the minimization of this acceleration under stimulus.
This paper develops the concept from experiential illustration to formal model. It introduces Oscillatory Velocity (OV), defines measurable regulatory markers, integrates the Five Gold Coins of the Captive as oscillatory amplifiers, and situates Somogenic Transmission™ as continuity of embodied regulatory patterning across generations. A falsification protocol is provided to preserve structural rigor.
The Speed of Presence reframes paradise not as escape from motion, but as non-reactive alignment within motion. It proposes that suffering correlates directly with oscillatory acceleration, and that communion stabilizes internal velocity regardless of external turbulence. The implications span neurobiology, relational ethics, trauma recovery, and intergenerational continuity.
Presence is not mystical. It is structurally observable. The Divine rests. Matter moves. Alignment determines velocity.
