Ontological Resolution Theory: Canon v23.0 — The Geometric Foundation of Fundamental Physics

Description

Ontological Resolution Theory (ORT) derives all fundamental particle masses, coupling constants, and cosmological parameters from a single discrete substrate: a 4-dimensional Face-Centered Cubic (FCC) lattice with coordination number k=12, operating as a deterministic cellular automaton. Zero free parameters. Canon v23.0 introduces Instruction-Based Ontology: particles are not objects but self-replicating update instructions executed by the lattice substrate. This formulation unifies all previous results under a single computational framework. Key advances in v23.0: • Genesis Hierarchy: Four ontological levels (Cantorian Absolute → Impedance Threshold → FCC Lattice → Instructions) • Axiom A11 (Instruction Ontology): Particles are update rules Φ_P, not substances • Universal Update Rule: Unified CA formulation for scalar (photon) and spinor (fermion) dynamics • Instruction Set Architecture: Explicit computational rules for photon, electron, quarks, neutrino, Higgs • Mass = Cycles Per Instruction (CPI): rewrite cost per Tick • Charge = Winding Number: Q = n/k (derives fractional quark charges 1/3, 2/3 from geometry) • Spin = Two-Tick Memory: Lorentzian signature from second-order update rule • O_h Classification: 10 irreducible representations of octahedral group → Standard Model particles • Neutrino Triad: All three absolute masses derived (Σm_ν = 72.36 meV, matching DESI 2024 bound) • Special Relativity derived from lattice dynamics (not postulated) • Nucleosynthesis computationally verified (55,296 nodes, 500 Ticks, zero free parameters) Results (20 predictions, zero free parameters): • Fine structure constant: α⁻¹ = π⁴ + 4π² + (π−3) + 1/144 = 137.036 (accuracy 99.99997%) • Top quark: m_t = (3π³ + π + 1)m_τ = 172,640 MeV (accuracy 99.97%) • Higgs VEV: v = m_e × (12·2πe) × 4φ³ × α⁻¹ = 243 GeV (accuracy 98.8%) • All 6 quark masses from Quark Sieve • All 3 charged lepton masses from Derivative Cascade • All 3 neutrino masses from Inverse Sieve • Dark matter ratio: Ω_DM/Ω_b = (k−1)/(2 ln φ) = 5.3 (accuracy 98.5%) • Schwarzschild radius: R_S = 2M (exact, from channel saturation) • Bekenstein-Hawking entropy: S = A/4ℓ_P² (derived) • Three fermion generations (geometric theorem, not postulate) Consolidates Papers A, B, C, D, E, G, H, I, J, L, N, O and nucleosynthesis simulation.
